Giannoni & Richard Sign To Play With Bethel University

Congratulations to Camden Central High School Seniors Trevor Giannoni and Christopher Richard for signing scholarships Wednesday to play football at Bethel University in McKenzie. Bethel Assistant Coach Alan Hollowell came to CHS to sign the two. He says Trevor Chris will both make significant contributions to the Bethel Wildcat Football Program during the next few years.

Kyle Blackburn To Play For Terre Haute Baseball Team In Prospect

TERRE HAUTE, Indiana – The Terre Haute Rex are coming off a 2014 campaign that brought in new ownership and team management. One of the most consistent teams in the Prospect League, the Rex claimed a pair of second-place finishes in both halves of the season. The club finished the year at a clip of 37-23.

Lions Win Two

Two victories last night for the Camden Basketball Teams over Bruceton/Hollow Rock. The Lady Lions win 53 to 26 and the Camden Boys win 78 to 58. In the boys game Hunter Vick scored 26 points. With the performance Hunter has now scored over 1,000 points as a Lions Basketball Player. He’s a sophomore at CHS and in the past two seasons he’s scored 1,019 Points for The Lions. Friday night, January 30th Camden returns to District Basketball action with home games against Creek Wood.

Football Banquet

CHS Football banquet will be held on Saturday, December 6th.

DSC_0465The Camden Lions were defeated in the 2nd round of the TSSAA state playoffs & end their 2014 season with a 9-3 overall record.

Congratulations to the players, coaches and everyone associated with the team for a great season. Best wishes to the seniors & special thanks for their leadership and effort all season.
