The Lions lost at Huntingdon 28-14

DSC_0039The Lions lost at Huntingdon 28-14 in a non-District game. The stadium was full on both sidelines & there was a ‘playoff’ atmosphere before kickoff. The Camden game captains, Wes Blow, Gavin Miller, Michael Wilson and Chris Richard met the Huntingdon High School (HHS) Mustangs and the refs at midfield for the coin flip. Lions defer until the 2nd half & Trent Riley bangs the kick to the 20. The Lions string the return out & Dustin Prince leads the stop at the 29. The ‘Stangs put together three 1st downs before the defense digs in with tackle from behind by Seth Woods after only 3. Jake Scott hangs onto their QB around right end to make it 3rd & 6. Their runner tries right end, but after the big bang, Trevor Gianonni stands him up for no gain, 4th & 6. 7:40 left in the 1st, the punt is high, right, ugly & across the track. Lions will start at our 28.
