The Camden Marching Band Hits All The Right Notes!

The Camden Marching Band competed today, October 25, 2008, in Henry County. They did a terriffic job on the field. The Band Boosters would like to say, "Thank You" to all the people that came out to support the Band. We counted around 50-60 people from Camden. I know the kids were thrilled to see and hear from their fans.

In their class they got the following:

• Drum Major 1st Place
• Percussion 2nd PLace
• Color Guard 2nd PLace
• Band 2nd Place

On October 18, 2008 the Camden Marching Band competed at Trent Peabody Band of Gold Marching Competition. The kids done a wonderful job bringing home 2nd place throphies in Band, Color Gaurd, Drum Major and Percussion.

The Camden Marching Band competed in two competitions on October 4, 2008. They first started off preforming at Huntingdon, TN at 11:00 in the morning. They brought home trophies/awards for the following places:

• 1st place Band in Class CC
• 1st place Percussion in Class CC
• 2nd place Drum Major in Class CC
• 3rd place Overall Percussion in Division 1
• High Music Award in Division 1

Then they left for Dyersburg at 12:00 to perform there. They brought home trophies/awards the following places:

• Participation Award
• 2nd place Band in Class
• 2nd place Guard in Division

The parent and band members are grateful for the communities support at games and competitions. Thanks for supporting the ribeye sale that the band had on Friday October 3, 2008. It means a lot to the kids to know that they have your backing. To the band members: We are very proud of you for your hard work that you have put forth. Keep up the good work and good luck the rest of the season.
